Chris first saw the light of day in a small town in central Pennsylvania, and lived there until at age 10 his family moved to Vero Beach, Florida (Go VBHS!!). He has been living in Jacksonville, Florida and practicing geology as a consultant since graduating from the University of Florida in 1992. He is a licensed Professional Geologist in the State of Florida and has focused in the environmental and water resources field, primarily in Florida and the Caribbean. Chris has two amazing daughters, Rachael and Allie, and a recent addition, a grandson, the adorable Nolan Espn Coates. Chris enjoys spending time with his friends and family and actively serves and worships the Lord at Access Church, a strategic partner of Andy Stanley’s North Point Ministries . He also enjoys running, reading, traveling, cooking and outdoor activities.
